We're almost done with our review of map skills! We like to review these skills at the beginning of third grade in preparation for ITBS this fall. This week we focused on the globe, locating continents and oceans, as well as identifying the hemispheres. Students also reviewed the compass rose, and the cardinal directions (N, S, E, W) and learned the intermediate directions.
We are also fortunate to subscribe to Time for Kids this year! We enjoy reading about current events in our country and world each week.
