Reading with Mrs. Bender

This week we continued working on Little House in the Prairie.  In our anthology we read about "Dogzilla" which is about a dog who attacks a city ran by mice.  A lot of interesting things happened.  Our skill work focused on reality and fantasy along with spelling plural form of the words that end in f or fe.

Our science extension for this week was volcanoes.  The skill we focused on was reading a diagram.  Next week we will be building a model to complete our skill of following directions.
