Community Field Trip at the Village

Tuesday the third grade classes visited the Kalona Historical Village to wrap up their community unit in Social Studies.  The kids spent time in the agriculture building, post office, school house, depot, Wahl house and the Grout Church.  The kids had a great time seeing how communities come together along with learning some history about the Kalona area.
