Language Skills

This week we reviewed synonyms and antonyms, reviewed some "frequently misspelled" spelling words, and typed letters to this year's 2nd graders (next year's future third graders) to give them on the last day of school when they visit third grade.  The kids had some great ideas of things to include in their letters to tell next year's third graders, such as explaining how it works to "trade" classes, filling them in on the fact that in 3rd grade they will get 2 recesses instead of 3, and telling them about some of our special events/units of study.
