County naturalist, Pam Holz, came to visit the third grades again on Tuesday. This time she told us a bit more about pioneer life. We thought that some of the "rules" from the 1800s that she read to us were funny. For example, children could not talk at the dinner table unless an adult spoke to them.
Pam also showed us some artifacts from pioneer times, such as a "toaster." Students also got to play several games that pioneer children would have played.
