Laura Ingalls Wilder Day

Today the third graders experienced activities from pioneer times to go along with our novel we are reading, Little House on the Prairie.  They made bread, pumpkin pudding, and applesauce.  They also did a variety of crafts like tin punches, paper quilting and weaving on looms.  We had a special guest, Mrs. Casper, who came and shared her pioneer items and pictures from the many places Laura lived.  HUGE thanks to all of our parents who came and helped!
