Grandparent's Day

Thank you to all of the grandparents who joined us for Grandparent's Day!  We started off with our traditional carol sing in a packed gym!

After the carol sing, grandparents joined us in our classrooms.  In Mrs. Bender's class the kids made wreaths with their grandparents, and then spent some time playing math games.  Mrs. Hartsocks' class also made wreaths, then interviewed their grandparents and worked on a grandparents day word search.  Everyone had a delightful time!  Thank you to all who attended!

A Flea on Santa's Tree

Have you ever wondered how the angel got on top of our Christmas tree?  Today we visited Mrs. Juilf's class and they performed a play telling us how the angel ended up on top.

We continued working on creating our flashlights this week.

Some groups got their flashlights completed!

After Christmas we will be working on water, solar and wind electricity.
