Reading with Mrs. Bender

We reviewed poems this week along with reading a science story about underwater photography.  So we were interested in some unique sea creatures that live in the sea.  The kids used the National Geographic Web site to find the top ten unique sea creatures.  They took notes using our tree outlines.  Some of the unique creatures were the Blog Fish, the Loch Nest Monster, and the Frilled Shark.  Next they will be writing poems about their creatures and sharing their information with the class.
