• Many thanks to all who sent donations for the Murray family for our hat day fundraiser. Our classrooms gave very generously and KE students raised $1400! Students also enjoyed wearing hats today!
• Garden Basket - Kalona Elementary's Fun Night is fast approaching! The third grade classes collect garden items for our silent auction basket. In the previous years we have had seeds, gardening gloves, plants, trowels, decorative stakes for the flower garden or vegetable garden, kneeling pads, just to name a few items. The stores are beginning to stock their garden items so now would be a good time to start looking for items to donate.

2/20 - No school (President's Day)
2/24 - Spring Picture Day - more info to come
2/28 - KE Literacy Night
(More info to come - Supper will be served, guest speaker for adults and activities for kids)
3/9 - Donuts for Dads event in 3rd grade (More info to come - students can invite their dad (or grandpa/uncle/friend) to spend the afternoon with us as we do stations)
3/14 - 2 hour early out
