Math

Decimals were introduced this week in math.  The kids are doing a good job understanding this concept.  We have used place value charts (the kids refer to it as "going to the dark side", a fun way to remember it is different from our original place value chart.  We also did several activities using the base ten blocks.

There is a video on Khan Academy about decimals and place value.  An activity if also included if the kids would like to try it at home.
