While reading our story in our anthology, "Dogzilla" we took some time to learn about volcanoes. We colored a diagram of a volcano and labeled the parts, along with writing directions on how to make a volcano. We used a clay mixture of salt, flour and water for our mini volcanoes. Then we were able to watch the erupt after Thanksgiving break.
