Science

We continue to watch our Wisconsin Fast Plants growing in our classroom.

During this unit the kids will be researching information on plant and animal life cycles.  Many of the kids asked if they could do research at home.  Of course they can!  The following are just some of the questions we are looking to answer:
1. What does your animal come from?  An egg or a seed?
2. What is the baby animal called?
3. Where does the baby animal live?
4. What does the baby animal eat?
5. What are some unusual facts about your young animal?  (Is it born blind, full grown, with or without hair or feathers, etc.)
6. What is the young adult called?
7. At what age does your animal or plant become a young adult?
8. What is the grown-up called?
9. At what age is it considered a grown-up?
10.  What do the older animals or plants eat?  Is it different from when they were a baby?
11. When does the life cycle continue?  When do they lay eggs, have babies or harvest seeds?
