Students took their cumulative spelling test over all of the words we've studied during this theme. Some did great, but others need to work on spelling words at home. Remember, new lists are generally sent home on Mondays, and lists can always be accessed at the website spellingcity.com.
We also reviewed grammar skills such as possessives, and past/present/future time verbs.
To correlate with MLK day, we are also learning about the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. Students then brainstormed dreams that THEY have to make the world a better place, and are working on writing their own "I have a dream" piece.
