This n That/Belated Stations

Good morning!  We were so busy on Friday that we didn't get everything posted from last week (I think we're all thankful that Thanksgiving break is only a few days away!) :)

A few reminders -

• If you are willing and available, please consider volunteering to help out with Laura Ingalls Wilder Day on Friday, December 7.  Let us know if you can help in the morning, afternoon, or all day.  Grandparents, aunts, and uncles are invited to help too.

• The KE Boosters are sponsoring a Box Tops contest!  The contest runs through the end of November, and the classroom with the highest average number of Box Tops collected per student wins a cookie party!

• Mark your calendar - on Saturday, December 8 the boosters are also hosting a Beef and Noodles fundraiser meal at the Middle School (see post below for more info).

• Keep on reading!  Both Mrs. Bender and Mrs. Hartsock's reading groups are participating in a new monthly reading incentive.  This month all students have a reading goal to read 100 minutes by the end of the month (keep reading and recording minutes read even if your child has met the goal!).  We'll vote as a class to choose our reward for meeting the goal.


And finally, here's a look at stations from Friday . . . students used math and language websites on the laptops and apps on the ipads to review skills, finished up math and language assignments, and created turkeys!
