Veteran's Day

Sunday is officially Veteran's Day but Kalona Elementary celebrated on Friday.  Members of the Kalona Boy Scouts led us in the Pledge of Allegiance along with showing us how to fold the flag.  Members from the American Legion in Wellman shared stories about their service.  Mrs. Juilf's fourth grade class shared a choral reading about Veterans.  We ended with singing The National Anthem and shaking the Veteran's hands
