Language Skills

This week students completed a beginning of the year spelling assessment.  We'll begin our regular spelling lists that correlate with the stories in our reading series next week.

We also reviewed the proper format for writing in our daily writing journals, and learned about the writing process (prewriting, drafting, editing, rewriting/publishing). Students are working on writing letters following the steps in the writing process.
