This year we have a new science kit to use in third grade. It is called Space Science for Third Grade. In the kit the kids will learn about the different sizes of the planets and satellites in our universe, learn about which planets and satellites are in our universe and learn more about the moon in its relationship to the Earth.
This weekend the kids do have a homework assignment. Their assignment is to observe the sky during the day and during the night. What things can they see? They don't have to write anything down, just be prepared to share in class.
