Continue working on the multiplication facts at home. There should be practice timed tests in their homework folder. They should practice one sheet a night, returning it to school the next day. Our goal is to be able to do the half-sheet in one minute. Many of the kids said they were doing them under a minute which is great.
In class we started our next chapter working on fractions. The kids have been using beans and coloring shapes to help them identify the fractions. They enjoyed learning the poems about the difference between the numerator and denominator.
