Our topic this week was density and temperature.  We did a interesting experiment where a cylinder of cold water stayed at the bottom of a cup of room temperature water.  This cause the kids to have many questions; What about ice, it is cold but it floats?  What would hot water do?  So it has to be cold for precipitation to fall?  Our next step is the kids will take these questions and create an experiment to either support their claim or find out more information.
