We're wrapping another theme, and this was the week that students took the end of the theme spelling test (which is a combination of the words from past lists). We also reviewed grammar skills that we've covered this theme (past tense irregular verbs, prefixes and suffixes, and helping verbs) in preparation for the theme test that we'll be taking next week.
Most students also completed and published their vocaroo project on Kidblog that we've been working on in reading class - be sure to check them out! During language class wee added some text to help explain our projects. You can listen to your child tell about pioneer life and see a picture that he/she drew to illustrate the blog entry.
