On Monday we did a theme 2 spelling test.  It had 25 words.  We started writing newspaper article about something we did over the past month like go to a football game or a party or about Halloween or something like that.

{From Mrs. H. - We also worked on adding descriptive words to sentences to make our writing more interesting, which we will use as we write our newspaper articles. Students are following the steps in the writing process for this project, and started with the Prewriting step by answering the "reporter questions" (who, what, when, where, and why) about their chosen topic. }
