We've completed the Iowa Assessments, and are looking forward to getting back to our "usual" schedule next week.  Thanks to all who sent snacks to fuel our brains during testing!

A few reminders/announcements -

• Look for a sheet in Friday folders with info regarding our special day coming up - Laura Ingalls Wilder Day (or scroll down to read the info in a previous post).  We'll need several volunteers for this fun event on December 7.

• The KE Boosters are holding a new BOX TOPS contest, now through November 30.  Help your child collect box tops to turn in to his/her home room. The classroom that collects the most box tops (highest average per student) wins a cookie party!

• On Monday we'll be starting a reading incentive.  Students will be asked to record the books they are reading at home, and the minutes spent reading till the end of November.  Students who meet or exceed the goal of reading 100 minutes at home will get to participate in a class reward.
