Friday! {Stations}

Each Friday in third grade, students look forward to a different way of learning - stations!  Stations are a a fun way to work on skills in small groups, often in different ways than usual.

Here's a peek at last some of our stations from last week:

Students use the Smartboard to play a game that reviews the 100 grid that students are learning about it in math

Catch up time to complete math workbook pages from math class and language assignments

Reviewing spelling words using spellingcity.com on the laptops

We also use our stations time to create artwork/craft projects that we don't have time for during our regular school day.  This week students made pumpkins for a new bulletin board display, as well as decorations for our classroom doors to celebrate homecoming.
