A few reminders as we head into the long weekend:
• No school on Monday - Memorial Day
• Please return all library books/pay fines; also make sure your child's lunch account is paid up
• Tuesday, May 28 we will be walking to the Kalona Historical Village in the afternoon. Please help your child remember to wear tennis shoes (or shoes good for walking) rather than flip flops.
• Wednesday, May 29 is our swimming day! Third graders will swim in the morning, so may wear their swimwear to school under their clothing (but bring undies to change into after swimming). Students do not need to bring snacks, money, or pool toys for swimming. Please label all towels, etc.
• We plan to clean out our desks on FRIDAY, May 31, so you may want to send an extra bag with your child on that day as they will bring home ALL their supplies/gear.
Finally, a peek at stations today . . . we made fun frogs, finished up our stitching, math, and science, and used ipads and laptops.
